This was my first custom sculpture request, and definitely took longer than I anticipated to complete, clocking in at around 300 hours of meticulous effort. Admittedly, I tossed out about 70 hours of work that I was dissatisfied with, so not including that, it was about 230 hours of labor and learning. Shipping was a harrowing act of trust in our postal system, and I invested heavily into packing materials to give her the best chance of arriving unscathed (she did!)
