The Mask & Her Mirrors

This was a personal project with a lot of meaning for me, and probably the one Iā€™m most proud of so far.

For the stage and backdrop, I affixed over seventy 3/4ā€ mirrored tiles to black wire, strung from four acrylic corner posts; the curtain was upcycled from a black lace top to get that framed proscenium stage effect. The red curtained set prop was sculpted directly onto a bi-directional rotating mechanism that is housed underneath the stage, allowing the mask to slowly turn away from the viewer to her mirrors and back again.
